Insurance Terms

Basic Coverage

All rentals booked through Rentivo include basic rental insurance. This covers Third Party Liability (TPL) up to €500,000 per incident.

Excess

The standard excess (deductible) is €500. This means in the event of a claim, you are responsible for the first €500 of any damage. Operators may offer excess reduction options at checkout.

What Is Not Covered

• Damage caused under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Damage to tyres and glass (unless operator includes this)
• Personal belongings left in the vehicle
• Damage caused by off-road use (unless explicitly permitted)

Damage Inspections

All rentals require a digital damage inspection at pickup and return, documented through the Rentivo app. This protects both the renter and the operator.
