Terms of Service

1. Platform and Operator

The Rentivo platform (rentivo.domrol.com) is operated by DomRol Kft. (Hungary).

Rentivo is a rental marketplace — it acts as an intermediary between renters, hosts, and fleet operators. DomRol Kft. is not a party to the rental agreements concluded between users.

2. Roles and Obligations

2.1 Renter

• Provides accurate information at registration and booking
• Uses the rented vehicle/property as intended
• Complies with the cancellation policy selected at booking
• Is liable for any damage caused during the rental period

2.2 Fleet Operator / Host

• Posts accurate, truthful listings
• Makes the vehicle/property available in the condition described
• Holds valid insurance coverage
• For villas/apartments: holds a valid STR registration number (EU STR Regulation 2024/1028)
• Accepts Stripe Connect terms and conditions

3. Fees

All prices are in EUR. VAT added where applicable. Payouts processed via Stripe.

4. Cancellation Policies

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to pre-booked services where performance begins before the cooling-off period expires.

5. Limitation of Liability

Rentivo operates as an intermediary. It does not accept liability for:

• Condition of vehicles or properties (operator/host responsibility)
• Damage caused by renters (covered by insurance and deposit)
• Force majeure events

Rentivo's total liability for platform errors is limited to the platform fee paid for the affected booking.

6. Digital Signature (eIDAS)

Confirming a booking constitutes a Simple Electronic Signature under Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 (eIDAS), legally valid across the European Union.

Recorded: IP address, timestamp, user agent, version of accepted terms.

7. Prohibited Content (DSA)

The following are strictly prohibited on the platform:

• Listing stolen or third-party owned vehicles/properties without authorisation
• Fake or misleading listings
• Listing prohibited items or facilitating illegal activities
• Unauthorised processing of personal data

To report illegal content: use the Report link on any listing. We investigate all reports within 72 hours (DSA Article 16).

8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Hungarian law governs these terms. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Hungarian courts.

9. Amendments

Users will be notified of changes by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
